you might wish to contact Mike Collette at Betterlight.com, as us users of scan backs need to be very careful re. the types of lights used for art reproductions.

Subject: [Alt-photo] Lighting Equipment

Hello all,

This is not an alternative processes question, but as there seem to be a fair
amount of college educators here I thought someone may have a suggestion or

Does anyone know of a list serve or forum that exist where photo education is
the common theme? I am researching constant lighting, specifically non-hot
lights such as LEDs, to replace the tungsten hot lights currently in use in our
studio. I am hoping to find an efficient way to communicate with other
universities and photographers to gather information on lighting equipment.

Thank you,
