[Alt-photo] QTR suddenly printing thin

Thanks, Marek for your response. The nozzle check looks good and normal printing (positives through standard Epson driver) are fine. I am really stumped on this one

I also noticed I made a type in the first sentence of my original email. It should read: “I have been printing with QTR to our Epson 4900s for about 6 years now and all of a sudden I am getting thin grainy negatives with one **computer** and normal with the other.”

To clarify, I am using two different computers and one printer. This is a lab in our university and students will be using it for printing digi-negs in the fall.

Thanks,

Same printer, same profile two different computers. I have tried uninstalling all of QTR and reinstalling along with the profiles on the computer printing the thin negative and still have the same issue. Changing from bi-directional to uni-directional has improved the grain structure, but the negative is still thin. Has anyone run into this problem before and have a fix?
