You might find the results of this Google Search interesting.  Don’t buy any wooden baby cribs made from Cherry wood.  Potassium Dichromate is commonly used with Cherry wood to “age” it and give it a nice glowing red color:

Now I’m not suggesting you go out and lick the top of a Cherry wood table….
