Josh It says April 17 on the notice! Is that wrong?! Yesterday you said May 17 instead of April 17!

' We are again finding the liberty to create, and this implies a new place for architect as artist and for architecture as art.' Santiago Calatrava

'While working on a building or an object, the architect is simultaneously engaged in the reverse perspective of his/her self-image in relation to the world and his/her existential knowledge.' Juhani Pallasmaa

Buildings are not abstract, meaningless constructions, or aesthetic compositions, they are extensions and shelters of our bodies, memories, identities, and minds. Consequently, architecture arises from existentially true confrontations, experiences, recollections, and aspirations.' Juhani Pallasmaa

Subject: [Ok-sus] OKC Cohousing Meeting

Date: April 17th, 2014
Time: 1 PM
Location: Istvan Gallery, 1218 North Western, Oklahoma City, OK

This meeting is for anyone with a general interest in cohousing communities. Hopefully it will be the catalyst for the formation of a cohousing community in the Oklahoma City area.

Residents of the Oakcreek Cohousing Community in Stillwater will be present to talk about their experiences and answer questions.

The meeting will then follow an open technology format in which participants break into small groups to discuss topics of their choice.

A cohousing community is a type of intentional community composed of private homes supplemented by shared facilities. The community is planned, owned and managed by the residents. The goal is to form a community that will foster neighborliness, interaction and participation.
