The Mine is a social innovation project in Tulsa. Please read below about
their fellowship program which this year involves market research for and
pilot launch of Tulsa's first Kitchen Incubator program-providing
affordable kitchen space and entrepreneurial mentorship for low-income and
underserved populations and an expansion strategy for Global Gardens, a
cultural educational and gardening skills program for low-income elementary
and middle school students.

The Fellowship is a nine-month professional program implementing
community-impact and social innovation projects to challenging Tulsa’s top
professional talent. Fellows work in teams of 5 peers on important,
high-visibility projects that benefit Tulsa. Each project receives a
$10,000 seed fund and determines the most effective way to spend the seed
fund, which could include website construction, equipment purchasing,
technology design, or travel to see best practices. During the process,
Fellows learn and experience the best of consulting frameworks from top
management firms and startup methodologies, human-centered design, and Lean
Launch Pad emphasis on customer discovery.
